What if exp across the board were reset to default levels, then non-aggro mobs gave 1/2 exp and aggro mobs gave double exp? Would this solve some of the abovementioned issues? This would mean zoning low level aggro zones would give 4x the exp of grinding in a safe exp zone. Or would this be too hars...

Honestly Ihazim, this suggestion is just a little bit silly. Possibly adding +2+2 to an existing item with the only drawback being casting time? Okay, I was just informed by somebody that the documents do, indeed, give more points to prime zones than non-prime zones. I'd always heard it was the other way around. Now I'm really confused. Why in the world would a prime zone merit more points than a non-prime zone? Theres actually more to that...

priest = cleric + shaman + druid Depends how you define battle priest. Priests could obtain 45+ hitrolls pre change. There are a couple hitter priest items in the game, ie small hps and hitroll items (notably 2 from spob and one from PI). If the game was balanced the mob wouldn't have over 10X the hitpoints a fully decked out warrior/rogue has. This gives the mob and casters an advantage. Uhh... people always seem to forget the odds are *15 to 1* when you fight mobs. So yea, mobs are going to need a bit of a boost to make it a chall...

I seriously seriously doubt that high lvl +slot eq is going to happen. An extra dscale, fheal or inferno can be huge. It'd have to be a full body 0hp 0ac item or something to *maybe* make up for it. While I think we all know differently, Sav. . . it was stated that the eq from the 'new zones' (Seelie, SpoB, PI, etc) were already 'balaced' and would not be changing along with the rest of the gear. While gear changes may come in and shift our perspective on SPoB, currently mage items are way abobve anything else in the game and you can get lots of them per trip. Why the pending equipment balancing can be used as a defense for SPoB / Seelie items the current perception is that caster hitpoints...

Been really busy what with all this eq stuff going on. Look for fixes for the moonshaes/Llyrath mobs loading their quest items as well as a fix to the evil Newhaven quest. Savras, you bring up the point that the first people to do quests actually DO do the hard work as well as take the risks to find out if they're gonna get screwed or not in the final item (2handed magebane with no warning?! haha). Also they have to work through quests not working right or some items...
