red for globe, yellow for scales? purple displace? grey stone? what color is haste, blur, elemental ward? armor? reduce? enlarge? keeping track of ONE spell should be easy :) just the opinion of a casual enchanter :) The big difference being that you can't actually glance at a person to tell if the...

Could we have the health bar turn blue in the group list if a person is vitted? Just an idea that thought would be helpful.

Also, Auction is near worthless as motivation for doing zones. Not many people are going to be going nuts and spending loads of cash for an amulet of discord on Auction. However if having an amulet of discord was part of a larger set that you could then trade in for a really great item, you'd find m...

What I meant by location was more a general area, not where it's specifically located. This would make exploring still important but not limit newer players who don't know their way around as well. For example, they give a general map of Scardale to new players. I would like this applied to the mud ...

Frankly I agree with the idea on having more info about zones in general. Especially the zones general location. If your character has been to a zone, shouldn't you know it's location and how to get there? I do like the idea of trading in lower end items from a bunch of zones to get higher end items...

some misunderstanding..
I wasn't saying there was an official player-wipe pending. I was stating that I would simply quit if we decided one was necessary. Please don't confuse it as anything more or less. Also, the reason I went into an explanation was to give my reasons why. I simply wanted people to recognize a player wi...

P-Wipe = Me quitting
I personally will quit if there is a player wipe. I don't want to work my way back to where I am now character wise or equipment wise. That doesn't sound like fun to me. So if there is some sort of announcement that they intend to player-wipe I will be leaving the mud.(I doubt i'll be the only one) ...

The one question I have is...will having a certain diety not allow you to resurrect people that follow another diety? I know certain dieties are available to say neutral human clerics *wink* but say if i choose a diety who rpwise is at war or dislikes the diety of another player. Am I not allowed to...

They won't remove invokers, if you wanna talk about game balance getting rid of invokers won't solve that problem, all it will do is cause the people that play invokers to stop playing and create a bigger problem. Besides every argument you can make about invokers being over-powered for damage you c...

Great points Yayaril, ok I have a suggestion that might appease some people. I've noticed that critical hits aren't really as good as they should be. In D&D when you critically hit someone it can cause hit point loss per round to that person until it is either bandaged or a healing spell is casted o...

The problem with limiting the number of posts a person can write is that it won't help anything...people will just make multiple accounts to get around it and you end up with the same number of posts anyway...or you'll end up with long posts that take too much time to read. Just my opinion... ------...

Uh...you've got to be kidding...Invokers solo better than Clerics? 1. Clerics can heal themselves (hence run away and come back) 2. Invokers have no defense plus can't heal themselves 3. When you lose 60 hps a round it doesn't matter how much more damage you can do. 4. Both are caster types...why do...

This debate can be summed up in a few short sentences... Side 1: We're right, they're wrong! Side 2: We're right, they're wrong! Side 3: etc... The only absolute in this life is that the truth you hold so near and dear to your heart depends greatly upon your own point of view. You can't convince oth...
