We don't usually realize the shoulder we cry on actually belongs to the man we should be with 99% of the time.... Until: * The guy got a girlfriend, * The guy died, * The guy is getting married or * The guy has had enough of giving but not getting anything in return and promptly tell us to piss off....

That's not on. I'm sorry to hear something like that happened to a friend of yours. A question though, if you are not seeking legal actions, how else can you ruin him the way you described? I doubt someone who has done something this disgusting for 20 years has a conscience. What I would do is to ga...

On a non-science point of view:

Fortune readers will have a fun time thinking up what Star sign Quaoar will rule against.

Would be nice if they keep on with the consistency of naming planets after Greek/Roman deities, it's easier to remember that way... but Quaoar isn't too bad.

This site might just be a hoax. Some of the articles are really too horrendously stupid to be true.

I mean people like that really do exist... but I at least feel better now...

I'm for capital punishment... The only thing that keeps me from actually going ALL for it though is there's always a chance of convicting the wrong person. This whole thread is a great demonstration of what I mentioned in previous post.. It seems like it's either black or white... Where's the grey area? Hat off to Mplor.. For mentioning a point that I tried hard to express but seemed to have failed so far: the point that there are two sides to the matter and also for pointing out that we seem to have generalized our enemies to be all 'muslims' objectified them as nothing but our 'enemies'. This is ...

Krog, Either way, people will suffer. Does anyone want that? Hopefully not. Will justifying the killing make me feel better? Will the civilians in that area feel better about their heads being blown off their bodies because we decided that war is a necessary evil..? Don't think so... If we go to war...

I found myself agreeing with Kasula in most aspect. Just because someone doesn't agree with the idea of war, doesn't mean they are stupid/non-patriotic/lame/cowardly/selfish.. etc. Thing is, I think war is needed in extreme circumstances, but it is EQUALLY or MORE SO important that the people in USA...

I think that statue is nicely done. That is just the artist's way to express how he feels about the incident. Do not understand why it needs to be removed. If you don't like it, then don't look at it, just because some were 'offended' by it, doesn't mean anyone has the right to strip of the chance f...

I'm thinking about learning this language, but it looks insanely hard... My grandma is Chinese, but she and I speak to each other in English.. Fighting for country, yes, they should be war heroes. But you should read how many of these 'war heroes' have actually breached the code of war. They were trialed as Genocidal war criminals. Soldiers do not have rights to kill civilians and rape women and children. That imho stripped their title as ...
