We had a problem with a hard drive crashing too, the estimate we got was something like $60 CDN per 100k retrieval (thats right, K, not meg). So... yea. Since its your GF though, its probably stuff like moody poems and pictures of kittens that she wants to save anyway, so undoubtedly not worth it. ...
