To be remotely fair, the quests need to require the user to kill all the mobs involve by himself so that he can't just be handed the items. Also the quests should be obvious, otherwise people will just pass the info around to their friends and some will be advantaged and others won't be -- not a goo...

I dislike the idea cause it raises the notion that in order to be successful you need to be in a guild. In addition to fixing the xp mobs give you, xp tables should be fixed as well. Hard part of course is what to do about all the other levels, a level 10 voke...

At certain times of the day, especially on the evil side, it's impossible to construct a good xp group. I think that one should be able to get at one's items in the dark. As mentioned earlier, one of the biggest problem with the game is that you don't zone til your at least 41. I'm not sure if this is a feature or a bug, but mentals are violent now when you dispel them. Elementals just want to go home, not sure why they'd get violent (I'll just send them to their deaths instead, but this is just a nuisance.) Another item dg to worthless. Cuelindar is easier to get with much better moves. Cloak requires you kill two rares and quest to a third rare plus 500 plats. Shouldn't be great of course, but shouldn't be a waste to quest either.

Thorn is a pretty tough dragon and plus there's a quest, so I think the dg to the dress is excessive. The dg was particular excessive in the hp area. I'd say slash the protects even more and kill dg/de if you must, but get the hps back. As it stands now, it's not an item anyone would use. the Irta
