With the new standardised weapon/armor/equipment system and the new feat system, will there be any item creation feats allowed in 2.0? I could see a lot of use for mages to take item creation feats and start cranking out customized magic weapons, armor, potions, oils, etc.

Opinions needed: something I'm working on for a D&D camp

Unfortunately I haven't played Toril enough to know if this feature was brought from Homeland, but I'm sure there are enough people to remember this. I am working on some rules to bring combined spells into my D&D campaign. I've got some basics so far, but I am at a loss for coming up with spell...

Lilira are the feats from that link the same as the dnd 3.x? Yes, that page is actually maintained by Wizards of the Coast, and is considered canon. The SRD is actually more accurate/clear than the Player's Handbook in some cases, because they can print errata in the SRD. http://www.d20srd.org It's...

You don't happen to have any 3.0 or 3.5 books do you? I'm in the market for those, and have only played 2nd once.

Thirded. I am always curious about different rules and info stuff. However, I don't always have time or energy to sit in a room (doing nothing else) and read / re-read help files one by one.

Having lived only a few miles from these cultists for many years and attended countless events they have protested (as a music major, I saw the protestors all the time at theatre and music events), I can say that I'm not surprised at the lengths they'll go to. I firmly believe that they are evil. My...

Re: Nintendo Accapella

8) I don't know if I spelled accapella right, but who cares! A capella. :P This friggin rocks, I think the whole acting out of the games is what really made it funny. Reminded me of watching "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" a capella and a cappella are the "official" spellings. a cappella music is starti...

I'd have to vote against this. It doesn't seem to make much sense to me to be memorizing a spell while setting up a tent and whatnot. If I'm trying to memorize something, I have to sit down and study just that. Just doesn't seem to work.

American Cancer Society Relay for Life

I'm participating in the Relay for Life at my school, the Univeristy of Kansas. For those who don't know, RfL is a fundraiser specifically aimed at raising money and awareness for cancer, cancer survivors, and the search for a cure. Each participant is urged to reach out to their community and get d...

I know the rules on botting are pretty serious. I believe that you could use a trigger set like this provided you were sitting at your computer on the mud at the time. If they do what they did on Homeland, they'll generally send you a tell if they think you might be botting. This is, of course, the ...

A Grove of Evergreens A spring bubbles forth form the ground in the midst of a grove of evergreen trees. This spring flows out the the grove in a stream that makes a wide arc to the west. The tracks of many forest creatures can be seen in the area making it a popular watering hole. The evergreens gr...

Areas, h <area> commands

As someone who is new to this mud, I think it would be invaluable to have some little help commands to tell you about what zone you're in. I'm not talking about ones that will tell you the name of the zone, but if I'm in a room that says "Deep in the Ardeep Forest", for example, I can type "h ardeep...

Just south of Waterdeep.

a caravan mule misses you with its undefined.

Also

You try to bash a caravan mule, only to sprawl completely THROUGH him.

I don't know... but I don't think mules are incorporeal

Hmmm... well, I guess I should read the whole poll before I vote next time. I've been mudding for about 4 1/2 years now (voted 4-5), but only been on Toril for about two weeks. Originally a Homelander, I got hooked working in a tech support box about ten feet from Iyachtu Xvim, and we'd mud during d...

Well, I never was one of the power players on Homeland, and I'm still quite new to Toril, but I'd definitely like to see mercenaries implimented. The mercs were only level 20, if I remember right. I'm positive they didn't have heal. The only time I ever saw high level players using mercs was when th...

That's really too bad. It'd be nice to be able to stash things. Kind of like having your own chest, but not nearly as secure if someone finds it.

It could also prove useful and interesting for people to bury items in order to keep them hidden. Combine it with some sort of dig skill, and we'll have potholes all over the mud!

Ahhh... it hurts so good.
