Right - as I said, properly insulating a tent would make it impractical as it would be too bulky to be used as a tent. Once you do that you can't fold it up and walk away with it. Other than the various constitutional hurdles I have no problem with a model where we take away citizenship from our criminals and deport them. I doubt he wins also... But the republicans have a knack for picking the wrong candidate and that can be a huge factor. Anything can happen in the next year.

The dems probably lose the senate in 2012 as well - possibly though unlikely to the point that they cannot even fillibuster.

Food stamp use doubled since 2007. Not too surprising given the economy and given the fact thar the dems in power during that time period like to expand entitlements to secure future voters.

Then stay an extra month or two without paying. The eviction process in NYS can be time consuming. :) I've literally had landlords pay their deadbeat tenants a few thousand dollars to leave rather than have to wait 6+ months evicting them in NYC housing court. The court could appropriately determine the constitutionality (both federal and state) of the statute. It shouldn't, however, tell legislators how to handle their own procedures with respect to passing legislation.
