Easy - Godfather II, young Vito standing on the boat and just staring out onto the New York City skyline (the statue of liberty, in particular). The music is blaring in the background and you can just see a look in his face of having the determination to try and make something of himself. A very cla...

Yeah because holy word does so much damage...ROFL. Laugh, wasn't it just one week ago that you and the whine brigade (a/k/a the antipaladin "community" of twinked-out alts) were calling for Ambran downgrades because of the unfair damage produced by holy word? It's cute how you guys repeatedly twist...

So because less people play a paladin as their main their items should be better AND easier to acquire? Well I like that reasoning, that means an upgrade for all evils and their gear and make all quests for them easier. Not in the least. Yasden said something to the effect of Ambran being horribly ...

this is how things have always been, and always will be. Evils are not MENT for true newbies unless they can puttheir hearts into it, blood sweet and tears into it. if you cant do that, and you want to be evil, dont whine the first 5000 times you are shuned. That's pretty comical. So let's get this...

Eilistraee, I do appreciate that the lag is being looked at and fixed. I do, however, take a bit of issue with your snipe at people "complaining repeatedly." Basically, Ambran has been designed to proc holy word at a pretty consistent rate. Now holy word has an inherent lag to the spell, but with the sword it appears -- again, that's APPEARS -- to lag even moreso than the spell itself. Because it proc's so often, once you stack a few holy words onto one ...

Ditto to what Cordan said -- as stated by various Gods several times in the past, the whole purpose to the (at the time upcoming) Ambran changes was precipitated by making the weapon more friendly in zones (ie, getting rid of stone so you could be dscaled, getting rid of dispel magic so you wouldnt ...

Personally, after dropping 8-9 corpses the last time we completed BC (total death count was probably around 90-115), I don't think *anyone* should be "punished" for wearing a friggin item from BC. Couldn't agree more. Lustrous rings are yielded from a quite annoying quest, and not a well known one at that. Gemstones are often a second round bid item from a quite easy zone. There are FAR more sets of 2x gemstones in the game than there are 2x lustrous rings. Thus, the overall imbalance is far ...

I don't think all of you are seeing the big picture here. Although Soj is a text game, that is really only part of the problem.
