Looting

It seems that if your inventory is full, you can't get coins from a corpse, even though someone can give them to you. I think this is unnecessary, and chance it can be changed?

Perhaps it's just that my doppleganger sucks in combat, or that this is supposed to happen...but are dopplegangers not supposed to fight when their template is casting a spell, offensive or otherwise?

Would it be possible to add a little something to the spellcasting code so that if you type <cast 'lightning' enemy>, the spell will keep targetting the person you were fighting, even if that good-intentioned warrior rescues you? Examine currently shows the max weight that a container can carry, but there is nothing that shows how much room is taken up inside of it, or to guestimate the weight of individual objects [without iding them], that I know of.

That is what I am asking for.

If I could, I would. Unfortunately, I use MUSHclient. MUSHclient is not like tintin++ and zmud. If you want to do something like that, you have to know a scripting language, which I don't.

So put the money check before the skill check. Problem solved. You would, of course, need to check that they have enough so that if they fail, they would have enough money to pay more.

Idea for Rogues

Has anyone considered a skill for Rogues called 'swindle' or 'fasttalk', or something? A skill that lets them knock 10% off of the store price, or adds some % if they fail?

Although I do like the cost based on the attribute base, too.

Gift to Newbies

Would it be possible to put some food on all the newbie animal mobs (that it makes sense for)? Bears, hares, caribou (although I think they might already have it), and all the rest. Perhaps modify the ranger's <forage> skill so that they can skin and get meat from a recent animal kill? Just an idea.

a minimum stat, then doesn't the CG
program automatically have you have a
stat /above/ the minimum?

Meaning that you never go, "Dangit, my
Power's not high enough."

That's why you choose the class first?
