Dire Raiders don't get kick. This has to be some weird side-affect of having your class setbit from warrior to dire raider. I double checked the skills available to the class (in code and with practice command) and they don't get kick.

It wouldn't make sense to implement a message as you request. The new modifier is more like a more difficult target number to get critical hits on high-agility victims.

I just tested this 'bug' and was unable to cause it. I got myself silenced and quaffed a heal potion and had no problem. Which potion were you using? (maybe problem is specific to vitality, not sure).

Its duration is now the same as blur and hex. The change in duration was necessary to prevent the spell from being too powerful. I'll get the helpfile changed soon.

Hex still has a spellsave effect, it is just not as strong as before (frankly, it was too good for a single spell). So, it is more than just a second faerie fire.

You can't spiritwalk to preserved corpses. That abuse was foreseen very early. Read the helpfile on spiritwalk more carefully.

Well, all this whining about shamans has convinced me of one thing: shamans are too strong right now. So, rather than unbalancing upgrades to cleric, there will be downgrades to shaman. Those downgrades are not fully determined at this time, but they will be coming by the end of this coming weekend....

Res fail is not random. It is based upon your constitution. You make a roll vs your chance of surviving the res. An ultra-crappy roll results in failed res, a bad roll in stat drain, and success in a normal res. Most people would have that result sequence in a different order (and may assume it was)...

Holy word has since had its damage reduced and the anti-undead spells have had their damage increased. I doubt the situation would be the same again. I can't make the spells do decent damage and area, that is far too powerful. They affect only a single target.

I tested out doppleganger and a few other bugs we recently fixed and they are all fine. The problem seems to be just in scarlet outline, just in the file where its targetting is set. It should be fixed sometime soon.
