hrmmm...first character was on Toril after soj1 became toril/duris. was a barb conjie whose name I can't recall...only got him to 26 or so. My first "serious" character was Jilok Darkwolf whom I got to 39 and was struggling for gheal when the game went *splat*

Not sure if this addresses the issue...but as far as the mob tracking blind. Glitterdust only blinds for 1-2 rounds...so it had likely worn off already.
