Yeah, but never targetable. A whole group hasn't been able to sneak unless it's a group entirely of elves wearing elvenkind, or UD sneak races. So while I don't object to rangers getting either or both of a self sneak and self hide spell, I wouldn't like to see them able to cast it on other targets.

DS isn't actually so bad. The mobs wander around, it's a bit different, some mobs assist etc. What I specifically mean I dislike is where the zone is simply a mob in a stationary place, you kill them, and the move on to the next. While I accept that would give rangers more utility. I don't see it as any way desirable or in with what rangers are. Hrm, I strongly disagree with you Sesexe. Helpers should be mainly on NHC. 'who helper' seems to be a list of who to ask for a cr, or for equipment, or to level you up.
