Perhaps they would, but most certainly not all of them. And i seriously doubt that pwipe would cause a significant number of new players to come.Gormal wrote:So many of the people claiming they'll quit because of a pwipe would come right back.

Re: Assassinate Invisible
Invisibility is not dependant on stealth. You can shout all you want, and it will remain on. You can cast spells, as long as they're not offensive, and it will remain on. Make a swing at someone, no matter how stealthy, and it's supposed to break. In this one case, it doesn't.

Re: Paladins _aren't_ nice
Mystra made the argument once that just because we loosened some of the RP restrictions doesn't mean we can't have any. I thought she had a point even if its annoying. So, in this case, the morted mob in question won't be killed due to a normal fight, but as a result of a separate command used espe...

Re: Assassinate Invisible
There should be a chance of it, but a small one. Just look in Mexico for a great example. People get assassinated and it's quiet in the middle of the street. What matters is the acuity of the victim, if they were even able to struggle, or the notion that say your assassination was successful, but i...

The proof is common sense....the dyeing pbase, lack of noobs, and the enormous benefits a pwipe offers compared to keeping the 20 afking vets that are here now... I sincerely doubt that implementing pwipe would bring a significant number of new players to this mud (or not wiping would prevent them ...

Seeing as Lich can exist indefinitely within its phylactery, and switch through bodies of different states of decay, it would seem that its mind is separate from its physical body. Rather, the Lich is a spiritual entity, and body is used only as a medium to interact with physical world. Agreed, ther...

Maybe I should trust my instincts. Maybe that feeling of "WRONG" in and of itself should be enough to tell me that things are "sufficiently wrong" to take action. That's likely the best solution. It would also deter power leveling a bit because the lower level would get a negative to experience when grouped to high.
