Right on Xisi! Both systems have lots of stupid things going on. I have been running OSX since its first day out, and recently caught up in the upgrade path. I NEVER shut down my Mac and have 0 crashes and 0 downtime. I run programs from almost every Unix variant, tons of stuff for Linux and love th...

Depok, Thanks for the reply. I'm not really checking thier condition. Thats just a secondary thing I want to watch. I play a enchanter, so I am really glancing Dscales/Stone, globe, blur etc. But, Since I am already doing that, I also want to keep an eye on my tanks conditions. There are times that ...

Well in the spirit of sharing here are my simple glance triggers, variables and such. I say simple because at one time I had this all automated. Now I just glance and react. Its by no means perfect - but works for me. My system glances 4 tanks, has simple alias' for scaling/stoning/blurring/hasting....

How do I clean this up so I dont have to use so many triggers? is there a way to loop or something through a single variable instead of doing this for 4 differing variables? I'm trying to get rid of so many triggers - zmud slows the hell down! #TRIGGER {{@current_tank is in an excellent condition.}{...

Grunelda/Grimella told me about this thread. I do have a record of all the mail that went through my d2solutions.com mail server from those turbulent Toril days. However, I did not save them in a archived email form. When I canned that server, I absent mindly saved a huge ass log file that contained...

I'll repeat an installation on My machine today and report back to you. I run OSX 10.1.2 with Rapscallion atm. Have too much time in Rap stuff to chance. It runs fine in OSX. TF runs as a UNIX console program in OSX. I think you just need to get a precompiled version of TF that works with any BSD. U...

I dont lead, but I watch the leaders very close. Its not a situation I would enjoy being in. With that said, why blame the leaders? The mudders I know, and call friends would never bid the fine loot for thier alts. Yah, maybe something pretty far down the glist - the unwanted stuff. Sounds like your...

Hurm, I dont know about other races, but I have grouped with Nidle since i started playing chanter. Pound for pound he is one of the best tanks on the mud. Combine halfling warrior with decent eq, a good healer /chanter and they make terrific tanks. He takes fewer crits, gets and extra attack now an...

Gormie - If you are working on cleaning up the help files and faqs I would change thier structure a bit. Any newbie (real noobie) would prolly type HELP after leaving the newbie traning area. I think you are right on the money Selias. Enervate is never cast, in combat as far as I have seen. I played with it further, doing some of the things Baratos mentioned. Evervate does drop them, but the time needed to make such a small drop in HP's precludes its functional use. (Snizzle digs through...

Ress (again)
Ress is arguably one of the most powerful spells in the game. You know the reasons - makes some zones doable, allows us to explore, farg up - etc. So why in this brave new Sojourn do we have weapons with 10 line procs of glowing neon color (no dig here - those proc's are appreciated!) and ress still...

Today I was experimenting with enervate with Nidle in the arena. Trying to figure out if its really all that worthwile to mem and cast. Wondering if anyone has logged the Thyrm "freeze" proc. I wanna add some things to highlight PC targets.
