And then, from playerbase standpoint .. throwing all this RP / alignment / D&D speculation in the trash can Toril Mud gets new players from time to time. Take our normal retention %, and cut that in half .. because many new people choose evil (thats 50/50 right from the start) .. they level up t...

Ok, so I think Sylvos is saying in his example that .. a Grey Elf, since he is born into a peaceful, good-doing society .. would really have to be much more evil to commit acts of theft, murder, etc. than a Drow Elf, who thinks he is doing "right" ie. the norm .. by sacrificing his 3rd bor...

I have thought about this some more, and I can show all of you how and why racial grouping restrictions are absolutely asinine. Use x11 and tintin. x11 is a terminal program / windowing environment. (Can set like alt f1-12 to auto size any of your windows.) Then just run Tintin. (It runs off Unix/Linux). I think Elner posted some solid tintin setups w/a warrior rescue list and one for chanter, shaman etc... somewhere around ...

Building materials & Commodities Re: Guild Halls / Rooms

I know we can pay for guild halls with platinum. It would be fun to be able to acquire credits as well through certain activities. I think this idea has very little merit. If it was the prerogative of the areas staff, I think this idea would be much better served as popping up new quest mob NPC's throughout the mud in low to mid level areas as EXP quests. Thus creating the new areas standard of EXP quests by using PC lookalike...

Leader alignment based groups

Due to a slightly smaller pbase, I think it would be beneficial to allow all races to group with one another. I think alignment should be slightly more of a concern (but not much). I propose that a neutrally aligned person can lead any type / mix of group. A good /evil aligned leader can only be fol...

Far out idea. Create a way to roll a class-less PC specifically for the purpose of role playing. This type of character would be allowed 1 simultaneous connect...
