Re: How long to reach level 50?
Awesome, thanks... wow, 1-2 weeks? Not bad. I thought it would take longer. Are there any classes in particular demand right now at high levels? Would be nice to be useful.

How long to reach level 50?
Hey all, It's been awhile since I last played Sojourn/Toril (over a decade) but I've been getting this tickling itch to start playing again (and potentially leveling up to 50). Before I start, I have two major questions that I was hoping you guys could help answer. They aren't going to have perfect ...

lawlz, yeah no they're both old friends and I know them outside of the game, just haven't been able to contact them with old contact info. No playin' here, just like... observing... or something. Thinking they may have started playing here again in the last few years.

Also looking for another player... grey elf named Melandra?
Hi guys, man I just can't find any of my old friends anymore... I posted about Zymira earlier, I'm also looking for a girl who played a character named Melandra, a grey elf warrior, back on Sojourn 2 I think it was. Haven't talked to her in a long time, maybe she still plays even? Not sure. Thanks f...

Does anyone know what happened to Zymira?
Hi all, I haven't been to this forum in ages... I was looking for an old friend the other day, a Sojourn player who used to have a barbarian warrior character named Zymira. She had a few other characters as well. First name Stephanie, I think she lived down south in the US somewhere... does anyone k...

Hmm..
The first MUD I played was around 1999, I think.. or maybe 1998. I started out on a MUD called Dreamscapes, I had a lot of fun there for awhile, it was small but I really liked the people there back when I played. I don't know how it is now, but back then it was a blast. A number of them played here...

By the way, check out this website:
www.kiermud.com
And see what you think. I know you like rangers, and that's what of the things that drew me there.
And in case any imms read this, it's not a MUD ad, the MUD isn't even open, it's just a webpage.

I got the impression that Babo posted this thread so that people would realize that he wasn't intending to be greedy. Kiryan - I fail to see how 30% in 2 hours = 100% in 3 hours. 30% in two hours equates to 6 hours and 40 minutes for a level. Regardless, Taegost said that he netted 10% at most in an afternoon, not 30% in 2 hours, which means a level every 10 afternoons. It's a kind gesture for those at higher level...

Though Ormiss has a rather strange way of expressing it, he makes a valid point. It's not the problem of "being challenging", the problem is in HOW that challenge is manifested.. and in Sojourn, that challenge seems to involve simply hours upon hours upon hours of time spent mindlessly exp'ing in ho...

Sarvis - you mentioned earlier something about getting 8 hit points a level. Well, as a Grey Elf I average 10 hit points a level at max con notch, so whoever is getting 8 hps is definitely not at max con notch, or is mistaken about the hit point gains. Not to directly contradict anyone for any reason other than just to clear this up so that people don't use it as a reason to not post, but it shouldn't take much coding at all.
