Just as an example. I solo'd my necro in DS from 39-49. Took me a total of around 30 hours of total playtime just exping. This included several times where there were at LEAST 2 other groups/soloers in the zone. Then I decided, hey, every mob on DS is around 10.0 on my trophy, SURELY ship exp might ...

Good Post Dezz. And honestly, Twyl, you cant really expect just because you sit at fountain that someone's going to come along and ask if you wanna group. If you really wanted to play, then all you had to do was go start killing, or maybe ask someone out there if they wanted to group. Like Dezz said...

Not justifying anything, I don't really care one way or the other, but if dayblind isn't a problem, just delete snakes as that is their ONLY niche. Well, that and illusionists. And they make half-decent clerics now too. Plus I dont think darkies being able to see the roomname in daylight is going t...

Nod Sylvos, I realized that too. And really, I'm more for just slopping on some cowl and being able to sorta see a lot more than I was for the other idea, I just figured most people would be more against that.. I'm wrong a lot though. So.. taking from above: Make the very basic one a wholehead cowl,...

As for the idea, if you do let them kinda see, no one will ever play anything other than a drow. Bye-bye snakes. My first instinct is to say thank God. I JUST read in one of the books that he now has no problem seeing in daylight. Was in whatever book came after the end of the Icewind Dale trilogy. Actually, it was after less than a year and a half on the surface that Drizzt was able to see at least decently well enough to hunt in daylight, though he did still prefer the night of course. So I dont really see why it would be too much of a problem here. And drow mages actually study by candlelig...

Drow are about as powerful as surface elves... Slightly higher warrior constitution is the only difference. And some weakish innates. Stars aren't too bright for drow. Moon can be, when full.... I dont think darkies will complain about being semi-blind on the surface the about week that the moon is full/near-full if they can eventually still see during the 12 minutes/day of daylight. I think that Ultravision is something that could use a minor change-up. Given enough time exposed to the sun, any character with Ultravision should be able to gain an ability to at least see in daylight. I figure it could be the same as what infra see without a light. Instead of red shapes, could be...

Just curious why this weapon got its proc completely changed. It appears to be the only item in game to have this done to it. I'll admit the previous proc was fairly specialized, but it was still slightly useful, once in a bit. If you wanted to add a new proc to a weapon, why not just make a new wea...

In the same vein as the SPOB post, just curious what other peoples thoughts are on Musp Invasion. Heh, compare your axe to other 1-handers. It's far and away the best warrior 1-hander in the game. Sure it only gives you an extra 10 damage per hit or whatever, but like you did later in your post, you have to compare that item with others all over. And your axe blows anything else away. I have to agree with Dartan. Moving 1 isn't enough, should be 3, from each tier. I mean honestly guys, it's a zone that has enough eq coming out of it to fill every slot on every player in the game. Invoker exp tables are high because they do the most damage of any class in the game. They are therefore deemed a "powerful class" and hence worthy of a large amount of exp to reach high level. Okay, so it lost 3 hp. Normally that wouldn't bother me. But when the VERY first item in the zone gets a huge upgrade, and then the very LAST, hardest to get item gets downgraded? That's not right.
Just give it back its 3 hp.
