Change the #CW statements to #SA statements and you'll see what the problem is. It looks like only the last #CW statement to be executed actually takes effect. So all you're really doing with those four is "#CW %if( %1<6 and %2=pm, "bold, red", "bold, green")" which will only give the correct colorati...

Savras, I'm unsure of the format mob stats are provided to areas gods via areas god commands, but if you'd like to email me I would be happy to help create some sort of zmud trigger (or find someone familiar with the client of your choice) to translate the "flags" field into readable text. This is d...

This depends if liches suffer feedback or not, really. 15 living rot's as well as 45 or so nuking pets would really hurt many large encounters. The only _real_ problem they'd suffer is a total lack of stoneskin. Another problem is rooms with silence. But this can be overcome with large masses of pet...

Savras, All of the "old" hometowns could use some revamping if you ask me. Waterdeep seems like a rural village when compared to Baldur's Gate, for example. An idea I've been considering on and off is writing the trails and rivers leading up to Mithril Hall and Silverymoon. Mithril Hall is NOT locat...

You were close on your first try, Celara. The approach I'd go for is a combination between yours and Cherzra's. Storing your list in a variable is extremely useful as it lets you modify it without opening the editor or the variable each time. So: #var friendlist {friend1|friend2|friend3} Trigger: Pa...

On another note, though... It should be possible to prevent high levellers from doing a "newbie" zone "hard and fast" without making it impossible to enter the zone. It should also be possible to prevent high-levellers from helping out. Mob procs seem to be the way to go (have mob-caster-X gate in a...

Woops, better get rid of the newbie zone too, then. I mean, that recall command is gonna SERIOUSLY impact high level playability and the overall feel of the mud... Of course, that said, it might not hurt if the newbie area _was_ connected to the mud in some walkable way. I had always thought it woul...

Yeah, I didn't bother trying to keep it from storing cursed items. The only time it really matters other than reducing spam is when trying to equip weapons fast in combat. The extra command trying to pull the weapon out of a bag can leave you unarmed for a round. I'm going to do a little bit more de...

A small update. What's it do? Handles cursed weapons sexy-like, with no wasted commands trying to get em from bags. Why? Why not!?? Another edit to mention that the aliases here just supercede the ones above. You still need the other helper functions for this to work properly. Small edit to change t...

2h piercing
I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but... Could the 2h piercing skill be put in the game? I envision paladins, antipaladins, and warriors having this skill. Why? Lances and mounted combat, primarily. I would love to see paladins on horses actually using horseback weapons (goodness me!). No ext...

a quick comment on globing bards... If there are spare globes, I make sure bards get them in groups where I do the assignments. Weapon Switcher 2.0
Ok, here it is. It is pretty much infinintely flexible. I've included several "demo" configurations (the weapmodes variable). It should work for weapons, instruments, shields, etc, in virtually any combination. Usage: To add a weapon mode: newweap <some mnemonic (may be multiple words)> Follow the p...

If missile-shield stays as it is (total blocking of non-magical ranged attacks for the duration) it NEEDS to have a low duration. Think how much worse off PC's would be if mob missile shield lasted 12 minutes? If, OTOH, the intended function is implemented (chippable stone-skin-like protection), I c...

I am vastly FOR complex mob "structure" specificicity. IMO, it would be great if it were possible to specify some of the following on a per-mob basis (they would also be defined under the various predefined mobile types already available): Immunity to crits/backstabs Multipliers to received damage f...

Just do like they suggested. Type some commands that will take a while to complete, then what you want to do. The commands you want to do quickly will go as fast as possible. My only possible explanation is that something isn't getting evaluated somehow. Try #if (@currentInstrument <> @harp) or #if ([@currentInstrument <> @harp]) <> is another way to do !=, and may act a little different (though I can't think why). The []'s will force evaluation. The if should be forcing...

My view: I don't generally haste anyone for "little" fights. I do haste as many as I can for big fights, though. This means hitters get haste, and tanks get haste if there aren't any shielded mobs in the fight (or if there is an elementalist in the group). The advantage to being a ranger is the sust...

Yep. Subject line pretty much says it all. When cast on self when tanking with noone else in the room, nothing happens. I've been killed by this several times. I've used the "bug" command to report it before, but I guess this'll be more effective. Discuss! Here's the helpfile: "This spell has two sl...
