I don't recall any spells specific to shadow weave in the tabletop game, actually. Mechanically, the shadow weave feats give a bonus in necromancy and illusion while making one less adept at evocation and transmutation.

This infighting is more absurd than the proc damage was.

Aside from that, good show. There were even three imms who jumped in to resolve this issue (the first, who said to talk to Areas, plus Marth and Eil), so I can't understand why people keep insinuating that imms aren't all over fixing things.

I think the mobs / keywords thing is a universal concern, since most mobs were not originally written to respond. It's only relatively recently that the idea of standardization in terms of what mobs respond to has taken root (or at least, the idea that such standardization would be a good thing.)
