Re: Murder in Calimport
Nope, this has a very specific purpose. The zone has a plot, and like any choose-your-own adventure, sometimes you choose...poorly. Of course evils can go to this zone, but following the plot you're helping out a paladin. Supposedly, you're supposed to be 'heroic.' You think you should be rewarded f...

Re: Murder in Calimport
Just a quick note guys - The changes to the zone have NOT gone in yet. This means that the last fight has not been fixed. If you decide to do the zone and try this fight, make sure I'm around first. I can manually make the changes once you pop the fight.

Re: Murder in Calimport
I would like to congratulate the first group to finish the zone, and appreciate the patience once again with the little twitches. With exception to that last fight, everything seems to be working smoothly. I will be keeping a close eye on things as the next few runs are done. Any ideas/questions/com...

Re: Murder in Calimport
Yes, it is intended that Shangalar does not have a phylactery. Tracking down phylacteries can be very important in this zone. Maybe it's elsewhere...
As for the vampiress, silly shaman, you should know that vampires don't have phylacteries. You haven't encountered the vampiress yet.

Adjustments to Headquarters of the Twisted Rune are in. I'll be around to keep an eye on things in general if there are issues.
Hint - do some research before going in, and pay attention to detail.
Hint 2 - Cleric damage rules.

Re: Murder in Calimport
1 - Yep, holy respawns. The respawn engine is being tweaked as I type this, and I'm hoping to have the adjustments in next boot. That being said, as I told the zone group last night let me know when you want to make a second attempt on it so that I can be around to manually make things more feasible...

*sigh* Teflor, seriously. First, your post was vague at best - but that's beside the point. I rarely post here, and I can't think of a time that I have ever bothered to post for or against you. Yet a small poke at you, making a jest, and you immediately assume that I am against you. Gotta break it t...

Re: Reimbursement of lost necro pet gear
The difference is not that rangers can choose to use archery or not. Necromancers can choose not to use undead or not either.
The usage of archery requires you to risk arrow loss. You can use undead without equipping them. Equipping undead is a choice, not a requirement of using them.

Re: How did you meet?
My wife and I initially met through a mutual friend in college - enough to get her name but that was about it. We really met and started to be friends when she joined our game of Shadowrun, and I had to pull her butt out of the fire almost more times than she deserved. Always helps to be the mage in...

Re: Board Game recommendations?
Yeah, Killer Bunnies is fun in premise, and even fun to play depending on what you pull up, but the resolution of who wins is crap. The better you do in the game just gives you better odds of winning. Completely random. I love regular Settlers, and Cities and Knights. Just depends on the mood that I...

Re: Board Game recommendations?
Existed..yeah, that would be a tough one to beat. Yep, we got Scrabble. Some deluxe version that has a swiveling base so you can turn it to the person who's turn it is. My mother-in-law loved Scrabble, until we taught her Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride. Now we hardly ever play Scrabble with he...

Board Game recommendations?
I'm a bit (ok, more than a bit) of a board game fan, however with Christmas being over, I've got some money left to use that I was specifically instructed to use to buy games with. No bad thing, but I'm a bit stuck at the moment as to what I should get. I was curious if anyone had any recommendation...

Re: FS: Illinois Senate Seat - The Beginning of Obamagate?
Obamagate? Really? OK, look. If Obama is actually guilty of anything here, I'll be just as pissed off as anyone else. But there is nothing to indicate that he is involved, and if anything the quotes from the wiretaps would indicate to me (at least on the surface) that he had nothing to do with it. S...

Upon further review, multiple complaints, the staff as a whole, and possible legal issues (no, I'm not a lawyer, don't tell me why there isn't one. I don't care), the recent NSFW has been removed. We will be discussing it further as a staff, and it may return. I doubt it, however. If anyone has ques...

Now that the zone has been in for a couple weeks, and I have hopefully fixed all the bugs, I'm looking for a bit of input on Klauthen Vale. This is a really tough situation. It looks to me, admittedly from way outside, that she has a lot of things that she has to deal with. Has been deleted.
Let me make this clear. Other than for random fun occasions, there is no plan, at all, to make multiplaying allowable here. That is not the game we wish to run. There are other games to play if you want to play with yourself.
