Christopher Reeve is easily criticized. Un-noteworthy as an actor, equestrian, and never known as an activist, Mr. Reeve fell into the category of the mediocre. However, a critic has never stopped and helped me change a flat by the roadside. I've seen him criticized as a selfish man who didn't care ...

Part III: Sariell He blamed himself really. There usually wasn’t anyone else to blame for anything, and nature was just that, natural. He cursed under his breath as his forefinger and thumb revealed to him the looseness of his bowstring. The ranger estimated that he would have been at least a fawn’s...

Part II: A Short Tall Tale The drunken adventurer you were listening to pauses for a moment as he ponders on the murky liquid in his mug. “Do you want to hear about the Wanderer?” he asks, droning on before you get the chance to answer. He goes on to tell you some sort of anecdotal story of insignif...

Not necessarily in the hands of the nations civilians, guns are only a neccessity for law enforcement and military application. You mean like the SS and the Waffen SS? Or Russian secret police, the Cheka? Yeah, they get shot by idiots who DO have guns when they probably shouldn't. Like the Boston m...

Would someone like to argue the point I made about guns being necessary for the survival of free government? I think we all know what has always happened to the people of the world not allowed to have guns. Oh, and by the way people that own guns are responsible enough to have them. The ones that ar...

The problem is that laws cannot be written simply because it would seem to be a good idea. As with most issues with government, good laws are those that are written for all of society only when absolutly necessary. Weapon control is a subject of necessity for government to legislate. People are not ...

Oteb is 100% correct about reduce/enlarge being too powerful. I would suggest as a solution, a bit more of a moderate solution. Simply make the spell scale with skill. For example, A lower level enchanter casting reduce upon a human would make the human elven size. A higher level enchanter casting r...

Actually, Pril, I think you got a bit of it too. While to some of you all it's a 'minor inconvenience' or 'not a big deal', it's beacuse you all are used to this. In the meanwhile, incidents such as this are leading to new character deletions, and abandonment by what might have been otherwise fine p...

Kiryan, Rangers tank very consistantly. They just cannot be relied on for rescues. Archery IS a consistant source of damage when properly utilized, however, not worthwhile when you lose all your good arrows to a crash or a spank. Archery is just as consistent as a rogue for luring, and if not, a ran...

Shifting Winds, Part 5 of 5 The winds blew with intense rapacity, through the trees and leaves, and into crevasses of the inn that had not been previously known. Teflor sat back in a chair, still dressed and prepared for a battle. Drops began to appear on the windows as a storm approached. Leaves fl...

Shifting Winds, Part 3 of 5 Lliandra took Teflor in from the stranger that passed through the village. She owned the inn in the little town that had no name, home to less than five hundred. The town was very set in its ways and had little room for a young boy with no one to watch over him. Lliandra ...
