Because then paladins would be better tanks than warriors, and anti-paladins would get shafted because they'd only be useful in part of clouds, and in Seelie.

So unless warriors get a new role, then going by existing roles, paladins would then beat warriors for tanking, damage, solo stuff.

I don't know of any paladins/APs that are dressed in spanky pure tank gear (hps+ac). Perhaps Selzanis, I don't know what he wears too well. I'm not so sure about it... Stamm leveled primarily after changes... and his tank skills kept up with his level. When he reached 50 he wasn't that far behind on anything.
