Some items were never meant to be recharged, such as the wand of thunderous rage found in a junk pile. I believe there are other wands that load without chages too. I even think one is dragonscales. Obviously such a wand was never meant to be rechargable. This is a sweet idea though. Someone would n...

My biggest concern is how this will affect anyone under level 41. Detect invis is supposed to be a very basic spell. You get it at level 1. It would also be rather annoying or confusing to cast detect invis and still not be able to see an invisible player, especially at lower levels. I would like th...

And comparing procs on a warrior's weapon and invoker damage isn't quite fair. Most warrior weapons that proc fairly regularly are mainly the damage ones. The only utility one that procs often is the ebony, but the fact it is only blind (which how many different classes have?) and it is a very shor...

I would hardly call an Invoker's procs a "highlight" of the class... Question: did you roll your invokers because of the procs invokers get? Another question: if you never had procs along with your invoker spells would you even miss them or even think to ask for them and give a viable reason to hav...

They're not supposed to necessarily be "interesting" I disagree. I think this game should be fun to play. Corth sums up my feelings on this in his post. Don't make the class more boring, unplayable, or deleted. If magical damage is a problem, sesexe's idea of reducing it across the board should be ...

The answer to your second question (Sarell) is no, which probably answers your first question. Although I think I disagree that there is an abundance of it. I've been working on my mages' equipment for a couple years now and both are on or near an ac rating of 0, which seems about right. I am aware ...

Invokers --Keep the damage that all their spells do, get rid of all of the spell procs. This is a damage class and I'm not convinced the spell procs both fit the role of the class AND are needed to make the class useful in a zone. I know there are people who would disagree with one of those thought...

The quest is to change your class. The quest is also optional. Nobody is forced to be a Lich if they don't want to. Having classes other than your own change is part of the game.

Justice - guards coming after death
I fought a mob in WD tonight. The mob called for help. I died a couple rounds later. After I logged back in, guards came and arrested me. Seems kind of buggy so I thought I'd mention it here. The expected behavior was after dying the guards would not come.

If you want ways to lose eq, having it degrade over time is a bad idea imo. The way to go is death traps. If you lose eq to a death trap it is your own fault, and nobody elses. The mud I played prior to this one used movement points for melee skills. They also had a vigorize spell. Opinion about zones becoming easier
As new, harder zones are introduced into any mud, older zones become easier. The common view seems to be that this is a bad thing. I disagree. I like having a wide range of zone difficulties available. Zones such as IC vault, SG and Brass tend to be mentioned specifically. (Nobody mentions moon temp...

Rangers should get a lot of moves, but I'm not so sure about the other fighter classes...walking around in heavy armor tends to slow a person down. 100 moves seems fine as the standard. I hate the bid increment thing also - why let it be over 100p? First, an increment proportional to the item's market value will generally improve the final price. Likewise, low increments lead to lower final prices. Second, this is really the only protection sellers have against sniping. The increm...
