Seems to me that there was provision for this kind of balancing made when the muds combat engine was revamped. Dial down the spells, dial up the skills and melee. Good point Treladian, but those are very specific cash sinks for very specific classes, as are quest cash sinks. Rogues and Rangers have to spend a lot of cash to keep themselves in potions and arrows, and if you put in eq quests that take 10k plats then sure that's a cash sink if you want that eq, ...
