No.

Learning the walking routes on foot around the realms is important, and should be encouraged.

The adventure to try and get to various areas in the realms proper, for newer players once they hit lvl 20+ should remain a big adventure.

I did the changes mentioned, and also fixed a bit of grammar, it appears to be humming along nicely, even if it doesnt appear to result in rolls quite as good as expected for certain settings.

Increasing some values and continuing now.

From the ingame news: "3/07/09 [Eilistraee] Auction - Auction has been re-enabled. All previous auctions have been deleted and the system is starting on a fresh slate." Eilistraee also advised that reimbursements were being considered, post in this thread I guess.

I don't think auto-reboot code can work.

We just need immortals to be on more often or more willing and able to offer a reboot if the uptime has been longer than 40 or 50 hrs, and if there is no-one online that objects to one, etc.
