Body Control never gave off conventional prots, but it *did* protect the user from planar damage like a prot would. When I converted it I kept that aspect in place but did not add any resists. Ok, Malia I'll try to recreate your issue more in depth. Is anyone else having these issues? If so, more detailed logs would be helpful, including output of your resistances active.

Lase - I didn't see any obvious issues. Looks like you were water embodied, which doubles damage. You were also being attacked by single-target line breath rather than area breath, which does more damage. Have you or anyone else experienced anything else similar?

Muxx - Save vs. breath and Evasion will remain as is for now. Saving vs. damage to can coexist with resisting damage - the two systems aren't at odds with one another. Malia - that doesn't seem right. I'll take a look.

Shalath - Yes, those are both next in line to be converted. Those spells work a little differently than the elemental resists so they weren't converted at the same time.

Whether a proc recharges only when worn or not is on a per item basis. If there are specific items you want to see changed, post them and I'll take a look.

They've always been bashable - they have a special proc that gives them a chance to avoid bashes though.

Just to clarify, those values would be cumulative across all of your equipment. So you could have three -12 height items that would move you one size down, as they total -36. Was that not clear? Size changes are much more dramatic than a little bit of -height and -weight, hence why this isn't a simple 1:1 conversion. My intention wasn't to ask anyone to justify anything, I'm just inviting you all to be a part of the process to fix this unintended side effect of the new code.

No, Thrand. The idea is to adjust the races and code to get things mostly correct, and then fix individual mobs on an exception basis. When people post mobs that are not showing the ideal size, I can then find the patterns and adjust things through the code and new racial definitions.

No, you're correct. It would only prevent/allow bashing of mobs that are already one size category removed as currently implemented. None of this is set in stone of course, and I'm completely open to discussing changes to the system.

Thrand: All characters (whether mob or pc) can only bash within one size level difference. Sorry that wasn't clearer in the news post.

Will fix the infra bug. I don't think the size comparison is really relevant information anymore, since we have standardized them and the raw information should be more useful. I'm open to arguments the other way though.

Fire/Air elementals are incorporeal again - you'll have to re-summon them though. Also fixed Spirit (spirits, ghosts, spectres, etc) race the same way.

Ragorn: 10 is a nice even number, and I wanted to move Giants up a bit for balance purposes without making them the same size class as larger creatures.

Our HD crashed and we moved to a new (and temporary) host. The forums were down for several weeks while we transitioned, but as you can see they're back up now.
