As a last resort, if none of this works, for a couple hundred bucks you can take the HD to a computer repair center, and they can typically make a clone of it.

I'll be doing a rewrite of this so that it handles time a bit differently. For now, if you say pres for 7 minutes, it will pres for 7 minutes....

Same reason clerics have necromancy. We don't use it now, but it's a lot easier to have it and notch it up as you level through practicing and not need it, rather that not have it and have a spell added later that fits into that category.
