Hurm...what if you made Jot invasion call all or some of the grid mobs to a certain valuable fight or fights. You'd then have to clear grid in order to do those fights. How crazy would it be if you were on second gatehouse and all the beards came rushing in?

Text sometimes goes by too fast, Burma. It's called highlight. Not difficult. Learn it. Use it. Also, use gags for melee combat. If you're not, you're insane. You can also gag most of unrelated caster spam, i.e. necro pets, clerics, spammy ass ghealers, etc. There's simply just no excuse for anyone...

That was kinda tongue-in-cheek Vigis. RessFX here has always been looked at as a balancing factor from what I gather. I doubt seriously we'd ever see it go away, but you make a good point in its favor of staying.

I agree, but the casual person (15 minutes at a time) will take an extremely long time to achieve master level.

My main focus of talking about tradeskills is because I found it something fun to do on DAOC. It is only secondary that it helps the economy by being a plat sink.

Nope, breaking means it's broke and you can't use it any more. Lesser stats and not repairable to its original condition is not broken and is still usable.

Therein lies the greatness of discussion. Just make it a cash sink instead of making it to where the equipment is no longer repairable. If indeed this was not implemented with tradeskills, that would work for sure. If implemented with tradeskills, then make it to where only player crafted items wore...
