Ummm..where's the option for "depends on what races look like when 2.0 comes in"? Seriously, Nonox stated in another post why they should be kept seperate now. The two sides are balanced in different ways (troll warriors and elven mages, etc), leaving many race/classes that would never get a group a...

Re: Toril 2.0: Combat Basics
Toril 2.0: Combat Basics Toril 2.0 features a completely rewritten combat engine, that is loosely based off of the d20 combat system. Those of you familiar with Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 will find this new system very familiar. 2.) Attack Bonus A character's Attack Bonus indicates their ability to...

Same reason clerics have necromancy. We don't use it now, but it's a lot easier to have it and notch it up as you level through practicing and not need it, rather that not have it and have a spell added later that fits into that category. Eradicate Undead. A better example would have been spellcast...

In general, I will say that I don't care for bidding systems too much. I think the random roll of the dice is much more fun. I do think that some zones deserve a bidding system however - spob, seelie, maybe tia. I only say maybe tia because there's 20+ items from there for 30 people. That's pretty d...

Admittedly coming from a very clerical standpoint. :) Archons. Devils. Demons. Eldarins. Make the alignment and the diety that a cleric follows MATTER. I watch wrestling on occasion. It amuses me the rediculous things that they do on there. I enjoy getting a good laugh.
Eddie was honestly one of the best performers that they had. He was fun to watch in the ring, whether face or heel.

So, after getting this shield, I realized just how oddly statted it is. I don't really play a warrior class, so don't care so much, but I am wondering how a huge shield makes you more dexterous and can make you see that there are hidden people around you. Sure, you could just say "it's magic" I supp...
