Obama is crap at foreign policy. With this, the treatment of Libya, and the handling of our relations worldwide without any improvement in US image abroad signals his complete failure since his election.

If it saves Florida money, I am supportive of this law to a point. Certainly, the least invasive, most cost effective measure should be used. I also recommend that two things are done: random screenings, and screenings on the suspicion of drug use by the state's representatives.

Heh. It seems Germany is quite cruel. It won't even grant foreigners German citizenship if they are born on German soil. Apparently, you MUST have a German parent.

US bases, installations, etc. outside of the United States or hosted in foreign nations are not considered US soil for the purposes of the 14th amendment. Children born to American parent(s) while abroad are eligible for US citizenship with the proper paperwork.

As a practical issue, many welfare recipients have to watch the kids or live in dangerous areas. Simply put, we should just attempt to minimize monetary support to stave off poverty related starvation. And not even all of it, just most of it. After all, private charity exists.

Furthermore, the general guidance to avoid relying upon social security or the Federal government by extension for anything is good advice, regardless of circumstances or situation. Self-reliance (coupled with sociality) is the best guidance for those who don't want to suffer at the hands of others.
