There are theories as to what it does. But it would be nice to have more useful psi gear, yeah we basically use mage gear but to us int doesn't do a whole hell of a lot and to a mage psp doesn't do squat (unless its a yuan).

It doesn't stop them from casting it, its a memory blur. If your vicious is off (as any good squid should be) and it is a success it will make the mob forget about you and go on with their merry business.

The early levels are the only time that melee is worth a damn. When I see people leveling up mage/cleric alts they look like rangers running around. At the early levels spells take too long to mem/do too little damage.

That is incorrect. 667 is where I am at nat at level 47 and I think level 49 and 50 you don't gain any psps. Possibly level 48 as well.

Also if the crystal is cursed then there is NO way to get past the orb in ET for me. See my post in the idea forum.

Just curious if draining a mob resets an illithid's hunger/thirst counter? It should since they do consume the brain matter of the victim and is their main form of sustenance.

I agree, hps are very valuable but being able to throw an extra ultrablast or two isn't going to be a huge deal, since you'll just have to meditate and or suck out enough brains to regain all that extra psp after the battle is over. 1) With the ammount of +psp on any item you would need roughly 3-4...
