Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with what Nilan said. I was constantly shut down for groups because of a ranger or paladin. Since a large portion of the goodies were rangers or paladins, I had a hard time finding folks who would group with me constantly. In the end, I had a little click of people s...

Here's a funny exerpt of an adventure in Rolemaster where my friend played under an insane GM. GM: Jazbaran has entered the Forest of Despair. The trees are dark and rotting, and a foul stench seems to permeate the entire area. You travel for several hours along a dusty road. Me: Ok, I'll keep my ey...

I didn't much mind the loss of experience. However, the corpse retrieval was annoying, especially since you always ended up back at your hometime. This could be really bad if your hometime is Bloodstone and you died in Havenport. On countless times I've helped people get past those vines and the fie...

It would be neat if they did add in some npc's to find. I basically had a who list set up with all the names off the crime list so that when people logged in I could track them down and tie them up. When a person knew that I was hunting them, their usual reaction was go and rent (no fun!). Here's a ...

Takes me about one year to get a character up to 50, without a team of powerlevelers working on me (which is frankly boring). So one year might be too short of time. Perhaps three to five years? Would give me a few years to adventure and get bored. Before they wiped and took away monks and changed s...

The thing is, the assassins of Toril weren't very sophisticated. The 'garroting wire' actually consisted of a 16" long piece of bridge suspension cable, which is a 6" diameter pure steel 'wire'. Actually, the wires were five pounds for awhile. Eventually, after talking to the admins a few times they...

Mplor translocated into the room I was loafing around, on the street of Dragons next to Zakara's. He digs around in his bag and fishes out a tiny ruby ring, and hands it to me. I think I might have talked to him once before when I helped cr some fellow in Minthka. I was surprised and quite gracious....

I found that right before the mud shut down, hide and sneak were both quite useful. Whilst on a Jot run, someone accidentally aggroed the one troll shaman who wanders about. He proceeded to tear up the entire group. I survived for about 15 minutes after everyone else died by hiding. Then hide wore o...

The stupidist thing I've ever seen done is a paladin sold me an item. A few minutes later they started griping that because I bought that item from them, that they were stripped of paladinhood. I guess they wanted the money so badly that they just forgot to check that I was indeed an assassin(and no...

Oh goody, I can't wait to get back to the Turning point and garrote those poor clerics to death, heheheee. Reminds me of springleap. I worked that skill up to mastery and a solid 50 percent of the time I would land back on the ground again. At least I could be different than the dragonpunching monks...

I did extensive testing and work with this skill when it came out. (I felt obligated since they used my idea.) After practicing for countless hours on bandits and evil magicians outside Waterdeep, my skill had reached 'very good', yet I constantly broke wires and my longest runs of using this skill ...
