It is indeed very sad. And just a few days after the challenger anniversary. It really, reall sucks. It probably wouldn't have happened if Nasa would get any sort of steady funding though. I really don't think that 20+ year old shuttle should have been in use. Sorry for the little rant, it is quite sad, but I think it's a pretty valid point to mention.

I know this is true, so I just can't turn on tv right now in case they actually show them rejoicing like they did on 9/11 :evil: Need to study anyways, but it's rather hard. I watched till 1:15 pm EST thinking they were going to say something at 1, but I just got tired of waiting. I was REALLY hoping that they got out, but I'm guessing whatever went wrong happened so quick, they didn't have a chance to react. :cry:
As long as we keep the space program going, we honor them. I do not believe that anyone who would take the risk of space flight would want the space program to halt on their account.
