Ok, basically I've been pricing the parts for a new computer for the last month or so. The basic idea being to pick out all the top of the line crap now, and then wait until my savings and their falling prices match to buy it.
The problem: I can't seem to find a motherboard which supports DDR466/PC3700 RAM. Anyone know of any? Or why there aren't any? :(

There is no "official" spec yet for 466MHz DDR, and the memory controlers top standard speed is 400, so the highest speed motherboards you'll find are 400MHz DDR. To get past that you've gotta overclock the bus, and use faster high quality memory. Realistically though if you just get good 400MHz (PC3200) such as CAS2 Micron or the Kingmax BGA stuff you won't have any problem. The clock rate is currently limited by the motherboards trace routing and memory controlers and not the memory modules themselves. PC3700 466MHz DDR is basically just a gimmick at this point.
