The below is from the newbie guide for rogues... I have been rolling all day and can't touch these stats! :)
Seriously... what are realistic stats I should shoot for? :) Thanks much
If you do not want to spend al lot of time doing the above (which is only for power players, really), roll a
character with the following attributes:
strength - mighty or better
agility - mighty or better
dexterity - heroic or better
constitution - good or better
Intelligence and wisdom are also somewhat importand for a Rogue, as they affect how well you sneak
and hide, search things out, and notch skills. Searching in particular is important if you wish to explore a
lot. Try to get these as high as you can without compromising the other stats.
Is this for real???
STR: 88 AGI: 84 DEX: 93 CON: 84
POW: 51 INT: 82 WIS: 61 CHA: 47
That's butt nekkid, and I lost two points of con to failed resses in the beginning of the wipe. Don't forget you'll have three bonuses you can add to your stats after they're rolled. You don't really have to roll a high intelligence but I rolled to explore, and it's always nice when I can hide in a room with some nasty aggro, search out an exit, then hide again before getting tagged. Max your dex, get a high enough con to get your last notch for whatever race you're playing, don't forget you'll be dragging fatass dwarves when they die for your strength, and get your agi up to at least good.
As for int and wis affecting your skills... once your skills are mastered that won't be an issue.
