Half the time I mud at

1024x384

on my wi-fi Sony Picturebook

This means, incidentally, that for a good readable font, I can't type "group" and see all 15 members. And you can bet I'm not reading battle spam.

The other half of the time I make with a desktop at 1152xwhatever

I mudded at 800x600 for years and years...got my new computer with a 19" monitor, first one I've had over 15" :D 1024x768 now, can squeeze 10 more lines onto the screen, really helps with things like viewing the group list and looking at a room crowded with items/corpses :)

I run at 1024x768, but usually I don't have the zmud window maximized (so I can have it hidden at work with just a corner peeking out to monitor spam *cough*)

1600x1200

I need it that big because of my status window, which takes up tons of room to display 'TEST' in red. I'll do it properly one day, honest.

On my laptop I had 16.1" vis so 1280x1024@courier8 was my baby, had my mapper, status window, and a scripting window always in view. though even after insurance there is still a $1000 deductable on that badboy.

My desktop is A LOT less nice, 1024X768@courier10 don't get to see everything and it is driging me nutz. But it is cheaper to not lease my laptop during a work term.

Uhm... Shouldn't the question really be: What is the size of your mud text display? I mean... I usually have 139 columns and 55 rows of text, but the actual screensize is 1280 x 1024 or bigger depending on where I am; at the home-not-move-around-computer, at the laptop or at work, meaning the mud window only covers 1/2 - 2/3 of the screen, allowing for "work related" stuff on the rest of the screen, or a web browser, or a text editor, or something... Anyway, I guess I'm rambling, and should probably get some sleep.

Oh anway, you forgot what I'm using on my laptop: 1400 x 1050 :)
