Postby Arafen » Wed Sep 03, 2003 10:52 pm

I was just wondering if anyone out there has actually made ur own game .. being a low graphic (such as nes graphics) to high graphics (like warcraft3 and such) ..... im looking to make my own classic turn based rpg .. maybe include a few people from the mud (with their permission of course) and equipment names (also if thats ok) :) so if anyone knows of any FREE software that i can use, just let me know .. especially i would like the gods to respond in using weapon names and a ferw eq names etc. thanks everyone and post asap.

it's hardly the same thing, but Strifeshadow was made from scratch by a bunch of gamers.

Here are a few 'do it yourself' developed RPGs that I've really liked (for whatever that's worth). :P

Mordor 1.1 was very cool.

Here's a link that describes what it was like (and the follow-up Mordor II).

I especially liked the Exile series from these guys but all of their games are cool.

Here's a new one that just released a demo this week.
