Hello.
I just stumbled onto this board, and
reading through the messages,
seeing the old faces, and
rekindling all the old memories...
how it strikes an accord.
As my tribute, I'd like to offer an old farewell post...
------------------------------
Serrin- "Here's a silver dog collar, wear that."
Zyumaugh- "Yes, an astral forged two-handed sword. It's quite nice."
Quintan- "I feel like an old fogey scrounging around in those record bins."
Gluk- "Gluk is Gluk."
Liyasha- "I can't figure out which class to play."
Kshani- "I always pick the worst class."
Karisa- "A spell which sends forth hordes of insects? You have got to be joking."
Faunn- "Kaushue nuts."
Maldavian- "I couldn't flee...was berzerked."
Tamra- "I'm forming a female guild."
Zendor- "Too many people in the group."
Inso- "We just have to heal up out of zone and do it in runs."
Indis- "I just sparred with the female champion. Ouch!"
Tiendi- "Lets just leave." (when faced with an altercation.)
Kyto- "Jacked."
Drakkoth- "I never miss bash."
Kelieia- "It is pronounced kel-eee-ya."
Lothair- "I still need a tiny golden."
Yoma- "Thanks for the train tip."
Shrina- "I'll race you."
To my guildmates in the Sisterhood and Crimson Sigil, thank you.
To my friends in Legion of Chaos and Eye Aeternum, thank you.
To my friends not listed above, thank you.
To everyone else:
there once was a time when 30 people logged on was a lot.
there once was a time when tower/undermountain/citadel equipment was the best garb you could wear.
No one had ressurect.
Take it to your heart and be grateful!
---------------------------------
How many can you recognize? Some became quite (in?)famous...all were important.
May your lives be blessed with bliss.

farewell...
Hey Anyia! Good to see ya.
Man, those names bring back a lot of memories...doing seaman/ruffians with Zendor waaaay back when we were like under 20th and doing all sorts of crazy stuff with that elfie Kyto (treants seem to come to mind...remember those? hehe). And who can forget that infamous monk duo of Indis/Tiendi? Those guys were awesome. I remember some of my insane MUD sessions where Indis, Marda, Valari, and I (Shyarn) would do Kang all night. That was some spanky four-man exp right there.

hehe citadel used to be the ultimate zone
Gluk and Inso the barbarians hehe, I think I met you and Gluk in UM Anyia
You would blank out while writing "scripts" for the spellups hehe Good ol times, yep. Even if I never played another day on Sojourn, I'd have enough good memories to last a lifetime. I'm so glad this board and the sos2 Yahoo!egroup sprouted up. It's like telling stories around the campfire with a couple hundred people

Ithrynn!
Glad to see you again, even if it is to say goodbye. Heh I was a newbie 10 times over when you were probably on your 2nd or 3rd char (probably more). You were quite possibly the first person I ever looked up to as an example of a player to be like.
Not much else to say. Good Journey to you.
Molidar/Dizlan/etc.

Mplor - In two words, "monk extraordinaire!" You always had class, inside and out.
Jaeb - In one word, "oi!" I still remember that as your calling card...oh and running hecka fast this way and that!
Shyarn - WOW! How have you been? Those *were* the days...nice to see an old friend.
Averyn - You left wayyyy too soon buddy...although I don't blame you, (but I'll never let you forget!) I'm happy we ended up guildmates if only for that short while before you split! Btw, I've always liked your name...it flows well.
Molidar - You stuck it through to the good end! All good things come to those who wait, eh? Big smiles, I could always count on you...it's sure nice to hear from you after all these years.
