Music...

Postby Baikalisan » Sat May 11, 2002 2:46 pm

If you could pick a song to play as you entered the mud that the whole mud heard what would it be? Think about it... Dont just answer your favorite song atm.. try to pick something that goes along with the way you play your character...

"I am Woman" by Helen Reddy!

You can bend but never break me
'Cause it only serves to make me
More determined
To achieve my final goal
And I come back even stronger
Not a novice any longer
'Cause you've deepened
The conviction in my soul

Either that or "Heroes" by David Bowie

We can be heroes

I was going to say something like:

Thin Lizzy -- Jailbreak or The Boys are Back in Town.

But then on the way into work tonight, inspiration:

Bang a Gong -- T. Rex

Like me, rockin yet slightly subdued. Lets you know Im here and ready to go, but in a not-so-obnoxious way.

That song "Du Haust" or whatever it is called. That might be the band's name actually (German band). Just because it sounds badass and seems as if I could carve your heart out with a rusty spoon.

You
you have
you have me
you have asked me
you have asked me and I have said nothing

Do you want, until death seperates you,
to be faithful to her for all days

No

Do you want, until death, which would seperate,
to love her, even in bad days

No

The english version is a pretty bad translation, if you can even call it that. The full line in German is "Du hast mich gefragt und ich hab nichts gesagt." Which translates as Daz posted earlier.

My favorite music moments are always one of 2 things...

#1. When Mogr and I put on Metallica and he uses the lyrics he has freaking aliased in zmud.

#2. Touk tells you 'ok in full hardcore CR mode now...beer, Tool, angry look on face...lets go'
You tell Touk 'ditto'

I made the mistake of telling Gormal I grew on a farm, and have the extremely quirky talent of being able to make noises that sound just like many farm animals... including a goat.
