A vicious Philadelphia Eagles defense enters from a Falcons thrashing.

A vicious Philadelphia Eagles defense ROARS!

A pathetic Buccaneers Offense at the Vet for the Past Three Seasons panics and attempts to flee!

A pathetic Buccaneers Offense at the Vet for the Past Three Seasons could find no escape!

A pathetic Buccaneers Offense at the Vet for the Past Three Seasons is dead! R.I.P.

You hear the death cry of a Chucky doll in the distance!

Philly is going to roll into the Super Bowl. Image

More like Load Carried : (The Tampa Bay Offense) Atlas would be proud

You also forgot his most important saving throw
FUMBLE[15]

Even still, tampa is gonna slap philly around on defense, probably win the game, and then lose to the raiders in the superbowl.

Its too bad about the 49ers, i think it would've actually been a football game if the giants had played, instead of a brutal domination of epic proportions.

P.S. FS/T: Damien Robinson LF: A used football
mudmail Herm Edwards if interested

Anyone have a weather forcast for Philly for Sunday?

While the Bucs are finally off the schnyde when the starting game temp is below 42 degrees, they still have only 1 win at that temp.

I must say, they were impressive this last weekend in their dismantling of the "9er's", but hey, the niners were recruiting people from the stands to play secondary, and given the game was in Tampa, its no wonder EVERY Bucs receiver was open pretty much all day.

But no excuses, their D is tough, and they may be finding an offense.

On the other hand, you have Philly, with a decent D, and an explosive O, playing in the last game at the Vet. If the weather's cold, that's another edge to them.

I'm hoping for a nail biter of a game, one that the officials have no sway in.

Let the Battle Begin!

The Bucs offense versus the Eagles D?

Not even close.

If my Saints defense can shut down the Bucs offense for the most part.. :P

I look for return man Brian Mitchell (Louisiana boy!) to be the X-Factor of the game, with field position being key.

I will almost feel sorry for Brad Johnson after the pounding he's going to take.

The Eagles barely beat the Falcons, and the Falcons are a terrible team with 1 good player. If Tampa doesn't bother spying McNabb and trusts in the ability of its defensive players, the will win the game, unless Rob Johnson pulls a pennington in philly.

Philly only needs to score 20 points this week to beat the Bucs. The only matchup that favors the Bucs is their defense against the Eagles offense.. the Eagles have a better special teams and matchup better with their own defense against the Bucs offense..

The key comes down to if Tampa can score enough, and frankly, I don't think they can.

Yeah, but Tampa's offense isn't very good. This has been proven when they've played the better defensive teams in the league..

The Bucs played at Philly on October 20th and only managed 10 points.

They scored 12 and 23 against Carolina.

The Bucs scored 7 against the Steelers.

They only scored 15 against the Bears.

They only scored 17 against Cleveland.

The Bucs managed 20 points in each loss to my Saints this year. Our defensive front manhandled their offensive line and really put a beating on Brad Johnson in each game.. our defensive line was weak this year. Heck, we spotted everyone 20 or more points in like 18 straight games (until the last game of the year we broke that streak) .. so Tampa didn't even do anything special to a very suspect New Orleans D..

I say the Eagles take this one, it should be close, but I don't see the likes of Keyshawn, Joe Jurevicius and an aging McCardell scaring that Philly secondary. Add that the inconsistent Tampa ground game and you've got a long day for Brad Johnson and that Tampa D.

I was at the Philly Atlanta game and Philly's offense was not good. Grabted Atlanta played a good game, but it worried me a bit. Of course, that was donovan's first game back so rust is now off.

I look for the Philly D to simply man handle Tampa's O. The Vet was unbelievably loud on Saturday. I hat eto even think about what it's going to be like on Sunday!

Ahh hell, this game is going to be awesome! 2 years in a row the birds have knocked TB out of the playoffs, and you think this year is going to be any different?

Granted TB is due for a win against the birds, but not during the last Eagles game at the vet. TB's offense is alright, but no match for the Eagle's defense. Brian Dawkins, Bobby Taylor, and Troy Vincent all made the pro-bowl, and Blaine Bishop is nothing to laugh at. That secondary coupled with hugh douglas, one of the best pass rushers in the game, means that Brad/Rob/Keyshawn Johnson aren't going to have much fun out there.

As for the Eagles offense matching up against TB's defense, I'm afraid that my birds won't be able to put up the points. Our offense is slacking badly. Staley needs to have a consistant day, and one of our recievers needs to step up. Even though McNabb is back, 1 man isn't enough to get u to the superbowl.

I'm calling 13-7 Eagles. The emotion of their last game at the vet will be enough to give the Eagles the edge they need over TB.
