$8.50 an hour. I live in a college town where demand for jobs far exceeds supply. You can't find anything within 30 miles for more than that, lord knows I've tried.

And I've now been assigned to a bitchy, minute-mongering, micromanaging boss who makes me hate my job.

Work for Toyota Manufacturing. I hired in at $16.61/hr and now make $24.96 with daily forced overtime on average of 3.3 hrs. I've worked at UPS during college (3:00 am til 6:00 - VERY physical), G.E. Sidebyside fridges also during college (somewhat hard since doing a double was 06:15 until 00:45) the FOLLOWING day. Toyota will half kill you physically. It's like a gargantuan mosquito that sucks you emotionally and physically. Instead of spit, the mosquito gives you bucks! I've virtually quit sojourn cuz of Toyota; makes me wonder if my money is worth is cuz despite it, I'm not happy.

Was on news last nite San Antonio Texas might get Toyota, even though the work load, I could see it defiantly be a plus here.
