What\'s in a Name?!

Postby Tayros » Mon Apr 30, 2001 2:39 pm

Ever run your mud name through Word’s spell checker?! With a week to go, give it a try and post the result here… MS Word thinks I’m…

Tayros – Taros (what the hell is that? A widely cultivated tropical Asian plant (Colocasia esculenta) having broad, peltate leaves and a large, starchy, edible tuber.) This is my Barb Warrior!
Tyrble – Treble, Turtle -- Halfling
Tyrrin – Turin, Tiring, Terrible – LOL! My halfling BARD!
Tyrsan – Tarzan – Human Cleric
Tyruk – Truck – Troll Shaman

Also… here’s a few of the 51+ crowd I though were funny!

Miax – Imax (how appropriate… sees the BIG picture! Ha!), Mix, Minx (oh behave!)
Shevarash – Shears, Shaver, Shiver – HEY! Watch those arrows?!
Cyric – Cynic, Citric – The Dark Orange….
Altherog – Lathered?!
Baghtru – Bathtub – Take a bath trollie!
Brandobaris – Breadboard – hmm…
Uthgar – Unthaw! You’ve been up North too much Big Guy!
Kiaransalee – No spelling suggestions, A real original :P
Diinkarazan – another spell checker boggle
Berronar – Verona… what the hell
Ilsensine – Licensing…
Erevan – Eleven (reminds me of Spinal Tap)

Post some more… let’s hear your names!!!

Trelizz - trellis, treeless, trellises
Gragt - graft, grant, garret
Klisht - kilt, kilts, cloths
Sithwyn - None
Cordan - cordon, coronado, corona (my favorite)

This is a decent way of checking your name too, I never realized Cordan was similar to Cordon.
