Music Stuff

Postby kwirl » Fri May 18, 2001 5:11 am

I am a big music lover, and i like all kinds of it. while mudding i find that i tend to steer towards non-vocal trance-type music, or light techno. Some of my favorites are Dead Can Dance, Enigma, and recently, Godspeed You Black Emporer.

anyone else like this type of music and have any suggestions on similar albums i may have overlooked, please post.

also, what type of other music do you people enjoy while mudding? any particular reason? I know someone who listens to ska while mudding so he stays calm. To each their own.

Kwirl, do you have Into the Labyrinth by Dead can Dance? If not, get it. And when you get it, hit track 2 and stand at the gates to nizari....hehe I did this by accident one time we were doing nizari and the experience was unreal.

If you like that sort of stuff, I would also highly recommend Mozart's requiem. If you know anything about Requiem masses or the controversy that surrounds Mozart's, it enhances game-play as well. running through a nasty zone while a chorus is singing (in latin) Day of wrath, day of calamity and misery...etc....

It's actually pretty cool. Ok so I'm a geek but try it!

I personally listen to very hard stuff, but love the above as well.

If you want real hack-and-slash music, get some System of a Down, Godsmack, or Staind.

Tool is neat blend of many styles..good for almost anything!

Also, I listen to Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, Disturbed, Linkin Park, Static-X, some Prodigy, Pappa Roach, I've alot more but I'm at school right now and can't remember all of them. One rule for me: NO RAP

Well I prefer to listen to techno/trance when I mud, and for that I usually just open up Winamp and stream it in from shoutcast... and then on rare occasions I'll load up some phish/floyd/zepplin for my stoned mudding sessions. BTW, phish also has a streaming site *nod me*
