Kind of sad that no one wants to come to my party

Well
I've been sick as hell the past few months
My diabetes has been giving me lots of complications and I've been in and out of the hospital every few weeks
But here I am still diligently working to make the people coming to this party completely happy
My boyfriend and I originally opened up this party for Everquest and Sojourn players
I got the idea from the Atlanta gathering and told him about it
We have about 20 EQ people coming as of now
Galok and Essete have told me they probably will come, but no other interest from the game I gave so many hours to
I can understand that a trip to California for most of you is too far and too expensive
There is also the hesitation in actually meeting me in real life I suppose
I had hoped for more of you to want to get together, something like this is not going to happen for a while
Not like I can force anyone to attend my party, just a little down that almost no one has shown interest
The party is in 13 days, I'm making final preparations right now
Have a great summer all
I doubt I'll be playing much for the next few months, I need to get healthy first and put my life on track before any more gaming

Basically its a 5 day party, from the 4th of July to the 8th. We have plenty of floor space here, so you can crash for as many nights as you wish, just bring a pillow and a sleeping bag.
Its just going to be one big liquor/bbq fest
With food provided for some of the vegans
I was going to make like vegetable stir-fry and spaghetti.

Beer and hard liquor will be provided
As it is expensive, it would be nice if you guys could bring a bottle of vodka or a case of your favorite beer

There's going to be ribs, chicken, and burgers on the BBQ
Gonna have chips, fruit, soda and juice for you sober people.

Lots of good alternative, rock, punk, and raver style music playing on my bf's overly expensive 8 speaker stereo system
You can bring your own music as well.

But pretty much same reason i'm not attending the atlanta party is why I wouldn't be able to come to yours, I live in NYC and have all my vacation time and funds spoken for, but keep your head up help is on the way, I have petitioned the party gods and they are going to look into it.
