Hmmm is it just me or when that window opens up does anyone else think that thing looks like ALF?

Looks more like the love child of Alf and one of those silly monkeys from the Discovery Channel. Crap, can't think of their names. Just watched them fling poo at the cameramen while some people shot them with tranq darts.

Geez you'd think they could come up with something more original than a baboon, how pathetic.

Yeah he COULD look a little more devil/demonish.....now he looks like a cross baboon/bird with strange arms and 2 heads.

That thing looks very little like the Sojourn Demogorgon I imagined to look like.

It's almost like a cuddly toy!

The Soj demogorgon is more fearsome, with blood dripping from its claws.

Nice fantsay artwork tho.

Thank you!!! That picture is _nothing_ like I had in my mind since Soj1. Demo is a mean, ugly beast. That thing almost looks cuddly. Bah!

You got a strange idea of cuddly Xyd Image

Most D&D demons and evils don't look "demonic" in the modern sense of a big, red humanoid with wings and horns. They generally follow the more classical habit of assigning a mix of animal parts to demons (the big red thing that most of us think of is basically the legs of a goat, wings of a bat, and humanoid torso minus the head of a goat often used to portray the devil in old pieces of religious art). For example, Mariliths look like six armed women with the lower body of a snake and glabrezu have canine heads and two crab-like claws in addition to normal arms. From a modern perspective, they're gonna look more strange than scary. Course, when your prefered method of gaining influence is to seduce mortals with power or services, it's probably better not to frighten them away when they first see you Image

He looks better dead!

The Astral Plane
The space here is composed of a bright, well-lit grayness that
extends in all directions, resembling a thick silver atmosphere.
The astral material is very clear, and vision is unimpaired to its
physical limits. There is no gravity here, and small bits of
debris float endlessly in some random direction without end.
Room size: Open Area (L:500 ft W:500 ft H:500 ft)
Exits: - North - East - South - West - Up - Down
Corpse of Demogorgon is lying here.
Blood is smeared all over the area.
