Quickly dissipating

Postby vynigumba » Thu Sep 06, 2001 5:44 pm

I would start the mass advertisement now.

Since this is has been shaped to be a "you must group" mud (wonder why) you need a decent number of players.
If you dont reach the threshold the mud cannot work properly. I think 60-70 players are pretty much the lower limit for this mud to survive.
And we are getting close to that...

The mud needs new players. I mean NEW, not alternate characters....

You're right that we need more players. Course, I won't be helping much since school just started and I am taking way too many classes in an effort to graduate this year.

I'm not sure why this mud is geared towards groups... but I think that's one of the things I like about it more than other muds. Even if it is frustrating when you can't find a group... heh.

I think the revamping of conjies and bards and the addition of range and guild code would go nicely with such a campaign.

I know how we can increase the player base..

Lets just limit reboots to every 60 hours.

I'm sure that keeping people bored to the point that they just log off will help promote the mud. And who knows, maybe south forest will finally be done... if for nothing else, to feed the duckpond.

Nuke the anon command.

You'll see a whole lot more folks that way.
