Greetings!
This announcement has been hard on me, because it makes things very final. The time has come for Thorgil Kettleforge to say goodbye to the realms of Sojourn.

Thorgil the dwarf lived a fairly anonymous life and his task was to catalogue all types of knowledge including quests, zones and items. One of his greatest feats was the time he reclined past ten manscorpians. His arrogance towards death also lead to as much disaster as glory.

I played between the years 1995-2001. I was online at an average of 4-12 hours per day. The good news is that I will have more time to spend coding and building up the graphical mud Tildruin (http://www.tildruin.com). Tildruin was originally ment to be a 400 room zone for Sojourn. It just shows how things can grow and get out of hand. Image

Please keep in touch. I can be reached at thorgil@tildruin.com or ICQ 98628178.

This post is a tribute to the friends that made my stay at Sojourn so enjoyable. They are listed below in alphabetical order:

Stay cool and good journies in whatever you choose to pursue in RL. It was fun mudding with you over the summer.

Hehehe screw 'Old School' I'm Pre-historic :P

Hehehe those were the day Thorgi, you, Fildur and Jasix the conjurer. When the mud was truely fun, when we looked up to others in awe and were honoured to even have a lvl 46 bow to us... What happened to those days on innocence..

Thorgil is one of those very few players I trust with my life and would follow blindly. (Fildur.. hehe now that's another story)

Fildur tells you, "Hey Jas, busy?"
Jasix tells Fildur, "Rofl, where did you die this time?"

*grin*

(These two crazy dorf's even feature in Jasix story, see Taming of the Renegade)

I will miss you my friend, tho will always be an icq away.

Take care bro and keep me posted on Tildruin.

Thorgil has always been one of my favorite dorfs, er, people. Image One of my biggest regrets about not being able to play Soj3 is I wasn't able to repay your help in getting re-started on Soj3.

I hope you are able to stay in touch and show your face around here from time to time. There will always be room in my groups for ya, wherever life takes ya. Image

Best to you always my friend. I remember the days when we struggled at the art of barding but never forgot to laugh and enjoy the fun of Sojourn. Then you went on to create the memorable Thorgil and make your marks on the dwarven stones. Success to you always.

Love,
Nep
