I tried an elf today. It really seems that the area west of town is a lot of 2 exit rooms that just goes on and on. Like a maze actually. Was really annoying. My friend didn't like it much either. So he and I were thinking about if there was some teleporter in town that linked other towns together and we could pay a fee to use them related to our level. The way he put it was west of leuthispar was a whole lot of nothing. It was very confusing and much of getting lost in circles. I don't know anything of ADandD but my friend does. Some other questions are about why so many races have so few options. Ogre and Troll are both almost one in the same. Any suggestions? On a good note it is in some way fun to be here discovering for ourselves but honestly I didn't like the elf area at all with so much emptiness and being forced to walk nowhere. Could not recall and was much hassle

*** Welcome to Toril ***

1) Enter the realms of Toril.
2) See who is currently playing.
3) Read the background story.
4) Change your password.
5) Enter your character description.
6) Delete this character.

This was the outcome. For a forrestal to allow an elf to be killed by an animal seems really out of the question, according to my friend. What am I not seeing here?

You beautifully slash The local idiot into two parts - both dead.
The local idiot is dead! R.I.P.
You receive your share of experience.
You raise a level!
Your blood freezes as you hear the rattling death cry of The local idiot.

Ok, so if a mob is down, it should be double damage, so 8 + a minimum of 2, assuming what my friend says would be minimum dice from sword. Why didn't the idiot die when incapacitated from the first strike?

I'm not really clear on the whole Damage dice thing Mt. Dew. (Did you know that since you created the first acount, you can just log in under the same name/password?)

I would honestly suggest not trying to start in Leuthilspar.

Try to stick to Scardale for the first 5 levels at least. Scardale is what we call the "Newbie Area." It has some quests and some fairly decent exp mobs.

Use Scardale to get yourself a little bit of familiarity with the game, and then go into the world to see what happens :)

Not everything makes sense when you first come on (and sometimes after you've been here for years) but it IS fun and you'll enjoy learning it.

Remember: Who Helper

:)
Nerox tells you 'Good deal, the other tanks I have don't wanna do it, and since your my special suicidal tank i figure you don't mind one bit!'

Alurissi tells you 'aren't you susposed to get sick or something and not beable to make tia so i can go? :P'
