Position for mounted
Position for mounted
Could someone please look into making it so that if you are mounted it shows up in your little position thing at the end of your prompt? I miss getting knocked off my horse so often in battle spam that I usually only notice when I start getting pwned by the mob really bad. If it were part of the prompt I'd be able to see at a glance if I need to get back on my horse.

Completely unrelated, but this just inspired me:)
How about mounted fighters get a skill called re-mount?
Basically, you fall of your horse, and you use this skill if you want to try and hop back on, without disengaging. 2 rounds of lag, success throws you back on the horse, sacrificing your attacks for that round because instead of swinging your sword you jumped back on your horse. Failed skill check causes you to fall off the horse and land as though you were bashed, also costing 1 round worth of attacks for the attempt.
Dlur grabs his mount by the reigns and hops back into the saddle!
Dlur attempt to jump back on his horse falls short, and he tumbles to the ground!
It would be an agility based skill, and could be used to fill the gap at highlevels for a useful skill, which is currently a big void.

i don't think so, i think their max skill is like 10 now or 20
It will be fixed in Toril 2.0.

The max skill is 20. As long as you have some skill, you can fight mounted. But there's not really any point to if you're a ranger since even 20 is too low to get a flankblock and you'll probably fall off the moment you have to pick up a fumbled weapon. You just won't be forced off if one of those pesky orc armies pops up on you while mounted.
