Drow Hunters/or ranger equivalent?

Is there any chance that the drow or another race could have the equivalent of the ranger for a class? It would be great to be able to have a silent stalker type that could sneak through the UD or etc.

Orc rangers would make as much sense as Orc mages, yeah orcs hunt, so does every primitive race, orcs are still trying to figure out why they dont throw the arrows, much less be archers of great ability

Rogue range attack outdamages a ranger's I believe. The only thing you get being a ranger is windsong (if yer the right race), spells, and laughed at all the time for being a wussy.

And I want barbarian psionisists too!

This is not true. Ranger damage on ranged weapons out does a rogue by about 25%. Its been tested
